Eradicating garbage larvae: 3 effective methods for a clean environment

  1. Dry grass or hay: an ally against humidity

If you have a garden, use  grass clippings  to line the bottom of your bin.  Dry grass or hay absorbs excess moisture  and limits  waste fermentation , thus reducing the proliferation of grubs.

This natural approach is also  a good option  for preventing  the buildup of bad odors .

  1. The right location: avoid direct exposure to heat

A bin exposed  to direct sunlight  promotes  the rapid decomposition of waste  and  the formation of larvae .

If possible,  place your bin in a shady and well-ventilated spot . In summer,  remember to empty it more frequently  to prevent  the accumulation of waste exposed to heat for too long .
